Let's Get While the Getting's Good
Dr. Leon Craig wrote this masterful piece regarding Alberta Separation that is an absolute must read! Craig is a Professor of Political Science at the University of Alberta. I've been trying to hunt this article down ever since Link Byfield mentioned it in one of his recent columns. Thanks to Alberta Republicans for posting it up. Craig really hits the nail on the head here with a very candid discussion of reality in Canada.
I sincerely appreciate Craig pointing out that we need not fear independence. Instead we should look forward to forging our own path in the globalized world of the 21st Century, it will be an Adventure of the highest sort! Can you get anymore Albertan than that??
PS - If we were all the Rednecks the East tells us we are, the article would be entitled "Let's Git While the Gitten's Good!"

Wow, what a great artice? This guy is right on. I was saddened to read that he is retiring from U of A. What are the chance that his replacement will be anything but a bleeding-heart, politically correct liberal?

Though there is still at least one sensible professor in political science at the U of A: Dr. Heidi Studer. She was Dr. Craig first grad student and is simply brilliant.

I doubt Dr. Craig wrote that article. It's not his style nor would a intelligent person pronounce their political opinions in such fasion. This is supposed to be the author of "The War Lover"? Ha.
